Purpose: To make the connection from yesterday to today, to connect the church to the community, build a bridge from the older generation to the younger, and bring unity and healing to the body of Christ.
Vision: The Cavender Ministries Campus vision is a four acre plus campus the Lord gave to Dick and Pam in 2008. The campus will be an inviting, rustic but comfortable, a non-intimidating atmosphere that will appeal to a diversity of people. The gathering place we refer to as “The Room” will be warm, inviting, homey and comfortable; an oversized living room atmosphere with a large stone fireplace on one wall. There will be a big kitchen with a dining area – restrooms His and Hers – Counseling rooms – an office – and a suite (where pastors and missionaries can come for rest and restoration) A prayer walk will surround the side and back of the campus complete with benches, chairs, and alters – bird feeders – bird baths – scripture stones – music (rock speakers) and a pine needle path.
